About
The Orators is an oratory competition for Senior Secondary School students organized by a leading NGO, The FirstWord Empowerment Network. The competition was held among schools in five local governments of Osun State, Nigeria.
Challenge
The organizers needed a brand identity that will effectively present the brand of the competition. An appearance that will be modern and appealing to the youth audience and perfectly align to the education sector. There was also a need to broadcast the show and make it accessible to the public at a cost-friendly price.

Visual Identity
A suitable logo addressing the challenge was designed for the competition. A logo that could perfectly blend with all backgrounds, and could be adapted to all platforms both digital and prints. The logo excellently depict the mission of the competition which was to expose the young students to platforms where their oratory and intellectual capacity for public speaking can be sharpened and rewarded.
Event Brand Collaterals
Brand collaterals for the event were designed to create a remarkable environment for all the participants. The backgrounds, hall, staff shirts, red carpet, cups and even bottled water were all beautifully customized with the competition’s identity.







Social Media Strategy
We had a strategy session with the organizers and we were able to resolve that TV channels would be limited and expensive for the event. Instead, a YouTube channel was created, the videos were uploaded and Facebook and other platforms were utilized to draw traffic to the channel. This was cost-effective and also long-term.
